MechaniCrash is me: ... a professional toy designer who uses music as an antidote for the totally different brand of creativity that my day job requires. I was brought up in the 1970s, in Detroit, and have all of the funk and soul that the Detroit of the 1970s brings to the table. With the 1980s came Prince... and art school introduced me to rock ( Led Zeppelin, The Beatles, The Kinks, The Stones, etc...) and Alternative/Punk/Goth (Bauhaus, The Smiths, Japan, Adam and the Ants, The Bad Brains). The 1990s brought Detroit techno, Trip Hop and "Gangsta" Rap to the table... and so on and so on...

What emerged is a weird mix of a lot of distant influences that I find difficult to categorize. Listen, and tell me.
